My seven-year-old is homeschooled. Luckily, he enjoys doing bodyweight exercises and some on my Soloflex Classic.
On the Classic, we made up a game where he hangs from the bar in overhand position while we count the clock. He can hang for well over a minute, and tries to break his last record each time. He now also likes to do Military Presses on the Classic with just the Lever Arm’s weight. He only weighs in at 48 lbs.
We also purchased a large Play Structure at Costco for him that has everything including a little rock climbing wall.
We’re just trying to give him a head start with being exercise minded… and it’s working. We keep it fun only. No schedules or pressure.
